The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Negombo and Beach Relaxation

Pick-up from the airport and drive to Negombo. See the largest fish market and relax on the beach.

Overnight stay at Goldi Sands or a similar hotel in Negombo.

Day 02

Transfer to Hikkaduwa with River Safari and Reef Activities

Drive to Hikkaduwa. On the way, enjoy a boat safari on the Madhu River and experience natural fish therapy. See the coral reefs and enjoy scuba diving and snorkelling under the supervision of well-experienced professionals. The Hikkaduwa coastal area is most suitable for surfing from November to April.

Overnight stay at Vibration Hotel or a similar hotel in Hikkaduwa.

Day 03

Journey to Mirissa via Galle Fort

Drive to Mirissa. On the way, visit the World Heritage-listed Galle Fort, which was built by the Portuguese and reconstructed during the Dutch period. Next, see stilt fishing before continuing to Mirissa.

Overnight stay at Paradise Beach Club or a similar hotel in Mirissa.

Day 04

Whale Watching and Beach Activities in Mirissa

The dolphin and whale watching tour begins at 6:00 AM and lasts 4 hours. Kayaking, canoeing, banana boat rides, jet skiing, and tube rides are some of the joyful activities you can enjoy in the sea. You will have the evening to relax at leisure.

Day 05

Drive to Arugambay via Hummanaya Blowhole

Drive to Arugambay. On the way, see the Hummanaya blowhole and a turtle hatchery. The Hummanaya blowhole pumps seawater up to 40 feet through a natural hole between two close rocks and splashes water into the sky. Arugambay is a very popular surfing destination in Sri Lanka, so enjoy your time here.

Day 06

Wildlife Excursion in Arugambay

Low-cost tuk-tuk tours are arranged early in the morning to visit wild elephants and crocodiles. Relax in the evening at your leisure.
