The itinerary

Day 01

Nairobi to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley

We'll pick you up from the airport, your residence, or Nairobi hotel at 7:30 AM and head over the Masai plains, stopping for a scenic break to view the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After arriving at the reserve, you will have time for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.

Day 02

Unlimited Game Drives in Masai Mara

For the next two days, get ready to explore the rich terrain and animal life of the Mara. You'll enjoy unlimited game drives through rolling grassland and signature, flat-topped acacia trees. Along with the vast herds roaming the savannah, you'll visit the Mara River to view hippos and crocodiles. During the season (July through October), expect to witness the wildebeests and zebras of the Great Migration streaming over the river in great numbers. But your days spent at the Mara are also shaped by your own wishes. You can take breaks, spending time as you please, relaxing at your lodge or camp. Your driver/guide is only too happy to help plan the details of your stay. As an extra bonus, you can join several optional activities that we offer: We can arrange a visit to a Maasai village to meet the local villagers, see their lifestyle, and learn about their culture. This is an exciting way to meet the indigenous people of the area. Dinner and overnight stay at the tented camp.

Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

After breakfast, have an early morning game drive before heading back to Nairobi, with a lunch stop along the way. Arrive in Nairobi at 1500 hrs and get dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or airport.
