Tirana to Kruja and Durrës Heritage Tour
- Pick-up from Tirana at 8:00 AM and drive to the medieval town of Kruja via Fushë Kruja, located on the slope of Sari Salltik Mountain. An old bazaar leads you up to the castle of the national hero Skanderbeg. Visit the city castle, which houses the Skanderbeg Museum and the Ethnographic Museum. Also visit the Bektashi Teqe of the Fortress of Kruja, built in the early 17th century.
- Continue to Durrës, the most important seaport in Albania. Visit the Amphitheatre, the biggest in the Balkan Peninsula, with a capacity of over 15,000 spectators and a rare wall mosaic from the 4th-5th century AD, as well as the Archaeological Museum. Walk through the city to enjoy the Justinian Walls, Venetian Tower, and the promenade.
- Drive back to Tirana in the late afternoon.
