• Visit Polonnaruwa, which was the capital of Sri Lanka for about 200 years before the kingdom was transferred to Dambadeniya and Polonnaruwa was conquered by the Indian king Kalinga Magha. You can visit the archaeological museum, royal palace, audience hall, swimming pool, sacred quadrangle, Shiva Devale, Pabalu Vehera, Rankot Vihara, Kiri Vihara, and the Buddha statue at Lankatilaka. The tour shall last 5-6 hours.

Overnight stay at Hotel Sudu Araliya or a similar hotel in Polonnaruwa.

• Visit the eighth wonder of the world on your ride to Sigiriya. See huge walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stone arches, mirror stone, and the world-famous Sigiri paintings. It is an isolated rock kingdom more than 200 m high. You will need to spend more than two and a half hours here to take in the beauty of the place.
• Proceed to Sigiriya, tour the ancient village life, and observe the community's day-to-day life through various activities such as oxen cart rides, catamaran rides, and walks in paddy fields. See a demonstration of traditional Sri Lankan food being prepared, and enjoy the meal with locals.
• Visit one of the three wildlife reservoirs in the area: Minneriya, Kaudulla, or Eco.
