The itinerary

Day 01

Monkey Island, Pink Dolphins, and Amazon Wildlife

  • Start at 9 am and transfer to Bellavista Nanay Port before boarding the typical boat "Peque Peque".
  • Visit the Nanay riverside market, where you can appreciate typical products of the Amazon jungle, a variety of fish, the famous grilled SURI, as well as a variety of fruits and agricultural products.
  • Navigate along the Nanay River and then continue through the Amazon River to watch pink dolphins.
  • Continue to "Isla de los Monos," located on the banks of the Amazon River, where you can spot five varieties of primates that are in danger of extinction due to poaching.
  • Set off on your way back to the city of Iquitos and have lunch at the floating restaurants.
  • Continue to visit "Fundo Pedrito" to appreciate the largest freshwater fish, "el Paiche" or arapaima gigas, as well as the majestic Victoria Regia aquatic lilac, turtles, and alligators.
  • Arrive in the city of Iquitos and transfer to the hotel at 5:00 pm.
