Panamá Viejo and Casco Viejo Heritage Tour
- Leave your hotel, meet your tour guide, and drive to the area of Panamá Viejo, a city established in 1519 and a World Heritage Site.
- Visit Panamá Viejo's small museum, ruins, and the majestic tower that once guarded the treasures that united two worlds.
- Drive toward the Cinta Costera, a coastal road that runs along Panama's skyline, and continue on to Casco Viejo.
- Walk through the heart of two social divisions of the city (Sal si Puedes and the pedestrian walk), one of the most important commercial arteries of the region and a melting pot of cultures that will put you in touch with the real Panama.
- Cross to the other side of the Protection Wall to reach Casco Viejo. Walk through its narrow streets to grasp its history; visit its churches, cathedrals, squares, and parks. Take some time to capture photos, grab a snack, and buy the works of local artisans.
- Continue walking toward the emblematic Bolívar Plaza, leave the wall, and reach the other end of the suburb.
- Return to the hotel to conclude the tour.
