Day 01

Market Visit and Traditional Family Cooking Experience

Start your tour by meeting your guide at the island's local market. Follow them through the market's aisles and stalls filled with different local products while listening to the origins of some of the fruits and vegetables most commonly used in the region. At the same time, the guide will pick up the fresh ingredients needed to prepare the different salsas, snacks, and main dish later on. Walk through the stalls, learn more about the daily life of people on the island, and select the best seasonal ingredients for your cooking experience.
Guided by your host, you will prepare a typical meal while learning about local traditions and useful phrases in Spanish. Discover the distinctive culture of the region and enjoy the sublime smells that fill the kitchen. Then try the dishes you have prepared at a family table while talking and sharing with your group, guide, and host, as well as enjoying refreshing and typical drinks from the state.
Once the tour is finished, your guide will organize a taxi to return you to your port or hotel.
