Day 01

Casco Viejo and Salsipuedes Walking Tour

Meet your tour guide at the entrance to the Old Quarters (Casco Viejo), exactly at Quinto Centenario Park, to begin the program.
Start the walking tour with a panoramic view and an explanation of the city's relocation.
Enter the suburb area for a walk through the famous Sal si Puedes, a forbidden place for outsiders. Become part of that vibrant and colourful side of Panamá that many avoid showing.
Continue along Central Avenue and the pedestrian walk to finally enter the walled Historic World Heritage city of Panamá, known as Casco Viejo. Explore its colonial buildings and learn about the history of this marvellous place.
Step inside some of the city's cathedrals. There will also be time for photos in the beautiful parks and squares, as well as a short stop at the Arts and Crafts Center, where you can buy handicrafts made by local people.
End the tour at the same place, Quinto Centenario Park, from where you will return to your hotel on your own.

This tour begins at the city entrance to Casco Viejo and ends at the same place. It is one of the most accessible tours because clients must reach the meeting point on their own. No transportation is included in the cost. It helps to have the desire to learn, have a good time, and a spirit of adventure.

- In Panamá, it is always recommended to be prepared for strong sun or heavy rain. You never know for sure.
- We have 2 shifts for this tour: 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Indicate which one you prefer at the time of booking.
