9-Day Private Egypt Tour with Nile Cruise and Abu Simbel

• Upon arrival, you will be picked up at Cairo Airport and transferred to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure.

• In the morning, your private Egyptologist guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a full-day tour to Giza, Sakkara, and Memphis. First, you will enjoy an excursion to the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, as well as the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Khafre. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of Khafre. If you are interested, you could enter the Great Pyramid to explore its mysteries.
• Then, you will visit the amazing Step Pyramid of Sakkara, where you will see some fantastic mastabas, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, and the Pyramid of Titi.
• Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After that, you will be transferred to Memphis, founded by King Menes and the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered a center of rule and culture for over 3,000 years, the first capital of Egypt.

• In the morning, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. More than 250,000 remarkable artifacts are displayed, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen's collection of treasure, gold, and jewellery.
• Later, you will head to Salah El Din Citadel, which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam Hills to defend Cairo from the armies of the Crusaders.
• After that, you will visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which was built for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt from 1805 to 1849, who reigned for 45 years.
• After the historical tour, you will get close to local daily life in the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
• After the day tour is finished, you will be escorted back to your hotel.

• After the trip, you will be transferred back to your cruise ship.

• Today, your cruise ship will pass through Edfu to Kom Ombo. You will disembark to enjoy a shore excursion to Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus, which is the second-largest temple in Egypt. Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, you will visit the Sobek Temple and the Temple of Haroeris.
• After the visits, your cruise ship will bring you to Aswan, where you will stay overnight on board.

• In the morning, you will depart by air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel and visit the Temple of Abu Simbel. The colossal Temple of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II and later saved from inundation by the Nile waters, is among the glories of ancient Egyptian monuments. The temples were carved out of a sandstone rock cliff and represent the deities to which each was dedicated, as shown on their huge facade. Nearby, also saved, lies the small Temple of the King's wife Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Later, you will be transferred back to your cruise ship.

• Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae, which was rebuilt on Egilica Island after the construction of the High Dam and was devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. Then, end your tour in Aswan by visiting the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows how the pharaohs constructed the magnificent obelisks.
• After that, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for the flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to check in at your hotel.
