Day 01

Pink Lake Jeep Tour, Market Visit and Swim

Get picked up at the agreed-upon location and cross the Senegalese suburbs.
Before arriving at Pink Lake, stop at a local market and see people doing their daily shopping. You will see them with calabashes or baskets, something distinctly Senegalese. Capture portraits of locals dressed in their African attires, as well as scenes of their daily activities.
Arrive at Pink Lake. On site, take a Jeep tour around the lake to see the salt harvesters and drive on what used to be the Dakar Rally's tracks, as well as across the dunes and the beach. You will also have the opportunity to swim and float in the lake.
Take a shower to get rid of the salt.
