Itinerary

1. Pick up from airport- Negombo- highest fish market

   • You are picked up from the airport and then drive to Negombo.

   • See the highest fish market and relax on the beach.

   Stay overnight in Negombo.

2. Lion rock-Sigiriya- Wild life safari

   • Drive to Sigiriya.

   • Next destination would be Minneriya, Kaudulla or Eco National Park.

   • Safari starts at 2.30 p.m. to see giants of the jungle wild elephants.

   • Drive back to the hotel and overnight stay in Sigiriya.

3. Lion rock - Dambulla cave temple-Kandy-cultural show- temple of the tooth relic

   • Start the journey at 7.00 a.m. and visit the eight wonder of the world, which contains vast walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone and world-famous Sigiri paintings. It is an isolated rock, kingdom more than 200m in height. You have to spend more than two and a half hours.

   • Your second destination is the Dambulla cave temple, the largest and the best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted into a temple complex by king Walagamba during the 1st century. There are about 153 buddha statues and murals, which covers 2100 square meters. You have to spend around one and a half hours to cover the entire temple complex.

   • Travel to Kandy and Enjoy Kandyan dancing event in the evening between 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

   • Visit the tooth relic; the most sacred molar tooth of the lord buddha is placed in seven golden caskets, under a golden ceiling.

   Spend the night in Kandy.

4. Waterfalls-tea plantation-tea factory- White water rafting- Nuwara Eliya

   • Travel to Kitulgala and enjoy water rafting. If you are above 10 years of age, you can feel the exciting water rafting experience in the Kelani River at Kitulagala in Sri Lanka. Well trained and experienced coaches would guide you in the rafting with all the safety equipment and safety guards. It is about 5km still water and another 05 km covers major and minor rapids. This is an incredible experience you should never miss in Sri Lanka.

   • Drive to Nuwara Eliya and stay overnight there.

5. Scenery train trail- Ella- Nine arch bridge- Little Adams Peak

   • The journey begins from Nuwara Eliya (Nanuoya) Railway station in the morning. It's the iconic scenic train journey in Sri Lanka. The train takes you along greeny hills of tea plantation, lovely old tunnels, waterfalls, stunning landscapes and enjoys traditional village life while travelling.

   • Drive to the hotel in Ella.

   • In the evening, walk for about 30 minutes towards the train track and see nine arch bridge. Little Adams Peak is an attractive viewpoint to see sunsets.

   Stay overnight in Ella.

6. Lipton seat - Hummanaya blow hole- turtle hatchery- Hikkaduwa

   • Begins at 5.00 a.m., and drive straight to Lipton seat to catch-up the sun rising scenery. The path drags along the tea estates, with busy tea pluckers in the morning.

   • Next destination would be Hikkaduwa.

   • On your way you can see Hummanaya blowhole, still fishing and turtle hatchery. Hummanaya blow hole which pumps seawater up to 40 feet from a natural hole between two closest rocks and splints water into the sky.

   Stay overnight in Hikkaduwa.

7. Diving and snorkeling- Beach activities- Madhu river boat safari- Bentota

   • See the coral reefs and enjoy scuba diving and snorkelling under the safety supervision of well-experienced professionals or kayaking, canoeing and banana boat rides, jet skiing and tube rides are some joyful events that you can enjoy in the sea. Hikkaduwa coastal area is most suitable for surfing during November to April months.

   • In the evening, you can enjoy Madhu riverboat safari and get natural fish therapy for self-relaxing.

   Stay the night at Bentota.

8. - Bentota- drop in airport

   • There are no itinerary plans; be dropped back to the airport according to your flight departure time.
