Itinerary

1. Pick up from airport-Negombo- Largest fish market

   • Get picked up from the airport and then drive to Negombo. 

   • See the highest fish market and relax yourself in the beach. 

   Stay overnight in Negombo.

2. - Peradeniya botanical garden-tea plantation-tea factory- upper lake view point- Kandy-cultural show- temple of the tooth relic

   • Return to Kandy on how you will visit royal botanical garden, which is covered by colorful flower plants, herbal plants, endemic and epidemic plant species and palm family trees all inclusive more than 4000 varieties can be seen here. 

   • Enjoy Kandyan dancing event in the evening between 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm. 

   • Visit the Temple of the tooth relic. The most sacred molar tooth of the Lord Buddha is placed in seven golden caskets, under a golden ceiling. 

   Spend the night in Kandy.

3. Hindu temple- Dambulla cave temple- Sigiriya- lion rock - village tour

   • Get picked up before 8.00 am from your residence in Kandy and drive straight to Sri Muththu Mari Amman (kovil) Hindu temple, the tallest and the most colourful Hindu temple of the country.

   • Travel to Dambulla Cave Temple, which is the largest and the best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted into a temple complex by king Walagamba during the 1st century. There are about 153 buddha statues and murals, which covers 2100 square meters. You have to spend around one and a half hours to cover the entire temple complex.

   • Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock, which contains huge walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone and world-famous Sigiri paintings. It is an isolated rock, Kingdom more than 200m in height. You have to spend more than two and a half hours. 

   Stay overnight in Sigiriya.

   Following tourist activities are remarkable in Sigiriya including village tours to experience ancient village life with their day-to-day activities, including oxen cart rides, catamaran rides, walk towards paddy fields, and cookery demonstrations on traditional Sri Lankan foods and enjoy a traditional meal.

4. Hot air balloon ride- Wilpattu -Wild life safari

   • Begin the hot-air balloon ride. Admire the sunrise and fly over the jungle, geographical beauties, lakes, wildlife habitats and ancient villages. Dambulla is the iconic place which offers the safest and enjoyable hot air balloon rides under the supervision of internationally recognized institution with their well qualified and skilful staff. The pilot will guide you for a safest and enjoyable ride throughout the flying hour.

   • Travel to Wilpattu National Park. Start the safari at 2.00 pm.

   Stay overnight in Wilpattu.

5. Drop in airport

   • Get dropped back at the airport according to your flight departure time.
