5-Day Kruger National Park Safari with Blyde River Canyon

• Our guests are picked up from the hotel of their choice in Johannesburg or Tambo Airport in an air-conditioned vehicle, operated by our qualified and knowledgeable local tour guide.
• The group will then proceed to the Lowveld in Mpumalanga, to Graskop, a small town in Mpumalanga province, South Africa.
• After lunch, proceed to the Graskop Gorge, more than 50 metres deep and occupied by beautiful Afromontane forests. These forests are the natural habitat of many plant and animal species, including the vividly coloured Knysna turaco. Keen birders will see loads of species to add to their repertoire and should undoubtedly bring their identification books and cameras along.

• Enjoy breakfast and prepare to check out of the Graskop Hotel to continue your tour.
• Visit the Panorama Route, a scenic road in South Africa connecting several cultural and natural points of interest. The route, steeped in South Africa's history, is in Mpumalanga province, centred on the Blyde River Canyon, the world's third-largest canyon. You will visit God's Window, Lisbon Falls, and Bourke's Luck Potholes.
• The group will stop at Harry's Pancake Shop for lunch, famous for its deliciously sweet and savoury pancakes. The shop is located in the town of Graskop, and it is traditional to stop here for a pancake when en route to the Blyde River Canyon or even while exploring Graskop. There is also a local market on the Panorama Route at several stops close to Harry's Pancakes.
• Proceed to Hazyview, a sub-tropical farming town in Mpumalanga, South Africa, renowned for its large banana and macadamia nut industries, contributing about 20% of South Africa's bananas and 30% of macadamia output, and bordering the Kruger National Park.

• Meet the guide for an early morning full-day game drive in Kruger National Park. Spot elephant, hippo, zebra, wildebeest, rhino, eland, and kudu - as well as big cats such as the lion and leopard.
• Stop for breakfast (breakfast packs will be provided) and lunch at one of the camps inside the park.
• Return to the lodge to relax and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
