Day by day
Transfer from Guwahati Airport or railway station to Kaziranga National Park. The 250 km drive through rural Assam will give you a glimpse of the Assamese lifestyle.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.
Early in the morning, go for an elephant safari in the park and return to the hotel for breakfast.
Relax for a while, then embark on a jeep safari to the Central Range of the park after lunch. Kaziranga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is considered one of the best wildlife parks in the world. If you are lucky, you may spot the one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Asian elephant, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer, known as the Big Five of Kaziranga.
Return in the evening.
Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.
Go for a full-day safari in the Eastern and Western Range of the park. Other than the Big Five, you may also spot Bengal fox, golden jackal, Indian grey mongoose, Indian pangolin, Chinese pangolin, sloth bear, hog badger, Assamese macaque, golden langur, and Hoolock gibbon.
Return by evening and depart for Guwahati.

In the morning, head to the famous Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, Assam State Museum, Nabagraha Temple, and Basistha Mandir.
In the evening, explore the local bazaars.
