The itinerary

Day 01

León, Las Peñitas and Baby Turtle Release at Sunset

Drive from León to Las Peñitas.
Walk to the ranger station.
From there, take a boat ride to Isla Juan Venado Nature Reserve and observe sea birds, including grey heron and tricoloured heron.
Head to the Palo de Oro Project center, where the sea turtle nursery is located, and take a walk around the nursery.
At sunset, release the baby turtles into the Pacific Ocean.
After the release, head back to Las Peñitas by boat and depart for León.
