Day 01

Dakar to Pink Lake and Lompoul Desert

Head to see the Pink Lake, the former finishing point of the Dakar Rally. There, you will see how the salt seekers harvest salt from the lake. Go by Jeep through the dunes to the beach.
Have lunch at Chez Salim hotel. Then, head for the desert. Lompoul is a desert with orange dunes. For accommodation, you will have a sublime and comfortable Mauritanian tent in nomadic style. Enjoy an invigorating local experience with a camel ride to behold the fabulous African desert sunset.
Enjoy an African ballet performance in your honour.

Day 02

Lompoul Fishing Harbour and Local Village

Explore the Lompoul fishing harbour and see the colourful fishing boats and the fisherfolk.
Explore a local village for an immersion in the local culture.
Head back to Dakar.
