Begin at La Concepción church for a closer look at the image of the Señor del Buen Suceso and the legend surrounding the oldest procession in Ecuador. Continue to the Museo de Las Conceptas for a guided visit through its rooms and a tasting of traditional tea prepared by cloistered nuns, then step inside the restored Teatro León to explore its stage, terraces, and dome while revisiting a century of history.

The itinerary

Day 01

Total Duration: 3 hours

We propose to visit a part of the Sultana de los Andes, where you will have exclusive access to real estate in the historic center and you will be able to have photographs with the best angles.

We will begin our visit at the La Concepción church with exclusive access to see up close the image of the Señor del Buen Suceso and its legend, around the oldest procession in Ecuador.

Then we will visit the Museo de Las Conceptas, with a guided tour of each of its rooms and the tasting of its traditional tea prepared by the hands of the cloistered nuns.

Our second stop will be the majestic Teatro León, a restored building and icon of the historic center of Riobamba, where we will visit each of its corners, from the stage to its terraces and dome and we will go back in time, remembering one hundred years of history.

We will pass through the Antonio José de Sucre and Pedro Vicente Maldonado parks, to remember the history from ancient Riobamba.
