Dev Deepawali Walk Through Old Kashi
You will be picked up from your hotel at 02:30 pm and begin walking towards Old Kashi.
Visit Dashashwamedh Ghat for the giant Ganga Aarti during the Dev Deepawali event, a famous Utsav celebrated in the holy city of Varanasi. Also spelled as Dev Diwali, it is celebrated to mark the victory of Lord Shiva over the demon Tripurasur. Hence, Dev Deepawali Utsav is also known as Tripurotsav or Tripurari Purnima, which is observed on the auspicious day of Kartik Purnima. On Dev Deepawali, devotees take a holy dip in the Ganges on this auspicious day and light earthen lamps, or diyas, in the evening.
Visit Meer Ghat and Ahilyabai Ghat to see the lights and diyas.
After 6 hours of sightseeing, you will be dropped off at the hotel.
