This morning, after breakfast, we will collect you from Springlands Hotel and drive along a scenic route to Tarangire National Park. The park offers incredible game viewing, especially during the dry season, when it attracts hundreds of animals.
Experience varied landscapes, including grassy savannahs, swamps, hills, and majestic baobab trees.
Look out for herds of elephants, zebras, buffalo, and lions prowling the jungle. Tarangire is also renowned for its rich birdlife, with more breeding species than elsewhere. The Tarangire River, which never dries up, is the only water source during the dry season.
In the late afternoon, drive back for an overnight stay at Highview Coffee Lodge, with lunch, dinner, and breakfast included.
The drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge takes 3 to 4 hours. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site known for early human fossils.
Your journey promises an extraordinary glimpse into human history and evolution.
Explore the rugged terrain with expert guidance and learn about the significant discoveries made at this site.
In the late evening, return to Ikoma Wild Camp and Cottages for rest, dinner, and an overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast in the morning, our safari guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you on a full-day Serengeti game drive tour. You will have packed lunch boxes in the afternoon, or you can drive back to the campsite after the early noon game drive in time for a hot lunch brunch.
After brunch, you can opt for relaxation, rest, or swimming. The driver will pick you up for an evening game drive. During today's game drive, prepare to be awe-struck by one of Earth's most spectacular wildlife experiences.
As you venture into this vast and iconic park, you will witness the legendary Great Migration, an awe-inspiring spectacle where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and other herbivores journey across the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. The Serengeti's diverse landscapes, from open savannahs to dense woodlands, provide a haven for the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), along with cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, and a plethora of bird species. Your safari will unveil captivating scenes of predator-prey interactions, heartwarming family dynamics, and the harmonious coexistence of wildlife in their natural habitat.
In the evening, you will be driven back to Serengeti Wild Camp or a similar camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive en route to Ngorongoro Crater. This magnificent caldera is the largest intact crater in the world, with an estimated 30,000 large mammals.
Descend to the crater floor to visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake teeming with wildlife. Ngorongoro is one of the best places to see black rhinos, lions, and a variety of bird species.
Look out over the impressive crater and its inhabitants before returning to your lodge for an overnight stay.
This morning, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, situated against the steep escarpment of the Rift Valley. The park features diverse ecosystems, including groundwater forests and grassy plains, attracting a wide variety of wildlife.
Look for the rare tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, and vibrant birdlife, including large flocks of flamingos.
After an exciting day of game viewing, drive back to Springlands Hotel.
