Islamic Heritage Tour of Salalah and Mirbat
You will be picked up from your hotel in Salalah or the airport by your tour guide. Visit the JOB Prophet Tomb in Ittin Mountain, which is considered a religious, natural, social, and ecological site. The road to reach it passes through green landscapes, where you can watch the simple houses of countryside residents and meet people of the region as well as other visitors. At the site, see the mausoleum and chapel where the Prophet JOB, peace be upon him, prayed, and observe the direction of the Qiblah at that time toward Jerusalem.
Next, head to the Imran Prophet Tomb in Salalah City, the largest grave in Islamic history. Located in the centre of Salalah, it is considered one of the largest shrines in the history of Islam, measuring 30 meters long and 80 cm wide.
See the Footprints of the Prophet Saleh's Camel, one of the historical places in Islam, showing the traces of the crushing of the camel of the Prophet Saleh, which is considered a miracle.
Visit the Hood Prophet Tomb in Sheer Mountain, which is also considered a religious, natural, social, and ecological site. The route to the tomb passes through green nature, with views of simple countryside houses and opportunities to meet local people and visitors.
See the Bin Ali Tomb in Mirbat City, the tomb of one of the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad, which is considered one of the historical places in Dhofar. Located in the province of Mirbat, the tomb was built with a white dome and, from a distance, resembles a garlic clove.
Enjoy a local lunch in one of the beautiful natural places and then head to the Saleh Prophet Tomb in Hasik, 200 km away from Salalah.
