8-Day Turkey Tour with İstanbul, Ephesus, Pamukkale and Cappadocia

• Meet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key, and the rest of the day is yours to explore İstanbul.

• Have dinner in the evening.

Overnight in İstanbul.

• Have breakfast, and enjoy pick-up from the hotel between 08:00 am and 09:30 am. The final pick-up time will be given to you by your tour consultant one day before. Today, you will depart for the İstanbul City Tour.

• Visit Topkapı Palace, the grand palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The palace houses exquisite collections of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, as well as robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, and the Holy Mantle, which enshrines relics of the Prophet Mohammed.

• Next, visit the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, across from St. Sophia. Built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, it is known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.

• You will then see the Hippodrome outside the Blue Mosque. The ancient Hippodrome was the scene of chariot races and entertainment, and it includes three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine.

• Take a short and enjoyable lunch break, then head to the Grand Spice Bazaar for shopping.

• Return to the hotel after the shopping tour.

• Have breakfast, and enjoy pick-up from the hotel between 08:00 am and 09:30 am. The final pick-up time will be given to you by your tour consultant one day before.

• Enjoy the sights you can see from the boat, including the Grand Spice Bazaar.

• Travel on the Bosphorus by boat, a traditional excursion along the waterway separating Europe and Asia.

• Take a lunch break at a Turkish restaurant.

• Depart after lunch for İstanbul Airport for your domestic flight to İzmir.

• Transfer from the airport and check in to your hotel in Kuşadası.

Dinner and overnight in Kuşadası.

• Enjoy breakfast, and pick-up from the hotel between 08:00 am and 09:30 am. The final pick-up time will be given to you by your tour consultant one day before.

• Depart from the hotel for a fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient sites in the world. Along the way, visit the Temple of Artemis, Curetes Street, the famous Roman Baths, the Celsus Library, and the Grand Theatre.

• Take a lunch break at around 13:00.

• Visit a place that continues to practise one of Turkey's oldest arts: a carpet weaving centre.

• Continue with a Turkish village tour in Şirince. The village's construction style belongs to Anatolian Greeks, and the houses on the slope are all original with their white paint. Şirince Village also has a fantastic reputation for producing some of the best wines in Turkey, especially fruit wines.

• Visit the vineyards, where it is time to learn how fruit wine is made with Turkish winemakers. You will be tested on your knowledge of fruit wine making in the evening.

• Visit one of the famous leather production centres of the region, where you will have the opportunity to get reasonable factory rates. On this guided tour, you will avoid the nagging and sometimes bullying that is well known in the markets of Turkey, enabling you to enjoy the shopping experience while gaining knowledge of the ancient craftsmen.

Overnight in Kuşadası.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

• Depart at 08:00 for the daily Pamukkale Tour.

• Check in at the hotel around 12:00, and have a lunch break until 13:30.

• Visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis. Then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs.

Overnight in Kuşadası.

• Depart after breakfast for İzmir Airport for your domestic flight to Cappadocia.

• Transfer from Kayseri Airport to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore Cappadocia.

Overnight in Cappadocia.

• Enjoy breakfast, and pick-up from the hotel between 08:00 am and 09:30 am. The final pick-up time will be given to you by your tour consultant one day before.

• Drive to Özkonak Underground City, one of the best-preserved underground cities in Cappadocia.

• Visit Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia.

• Continue to Göreme Open Air Museum, the heart of Cappadocia. It is famous for frescoes dating to the 10th century that describe the life of Jesus Christ and monks.

• The next stop is Çavuşin, an abandoned village with old Greek cave houses.

• Go to a restaurant in Avanos for lunch after Çavuşin.

• Visit a pottery workshop after lunch to see how pottery is made.

• Continue to Love Valley. Love Valley Cappadocia is a hidden valley with scenic formations. Despite the resemblance to manhood, these fantastic rock formations are far from artificial.

• Visit another workshop after Love Valley to see Cappadocian handwoven carpets and kilims.

• The next stop is Devrent Valley, also called Imagination Valley, where you can see natural rock formations that look like animals.

• Head to a wine shop in Ürgüp for wine tasting.

• Make the last stop at Three Beauties, three beautiful fairy chimneys with their hats, which are the symbol of Cappadocia.

• End the tour at approximately 18:00 and return to your hotel.

• Have breakfast, and then you will have free time in Cappadocia.
