5-Day Uganda Safari with Murchison Falls Cruise and Rhino Trekking

• Meet your tour guide at your hotel or residence in Kampala city early in the morning and get ready to drive to Kidepo Valley National Park via Gulu and Kitgum.
• Check in at your lodge later in the evening.

• After breakfast, take a morning game drive along Narus Valley.
• Keep your eyes peeled for African buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elands, oribis, African elephants, and even the odd jackal.
• Proceed with an evening game drive after taking your packed lunch; this will enable you to see the hot springs via palm trees lined along the Kidepo River.
• Search for ostriches, leopards, and tortoises, and on the way back, you can make a short walk to stretch your legs.
• Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

• After an early breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest park, and enjoy the beautiful savannah vegetation of Acholi long land along the way.
• Upon reaching the park, and before heading to the lodge, go for an evening game drive in search of African elephants, giraffes, African buffaloes, and much more.
• Check in at the lodge of your choice.

• Begin the day with a cup of coffee or tea before an early game drive around the Buligi game track on the northern bank with a trained ranger, who will help make sure that you see and photograph a wide range of animals in the Nile Valley.
• Marvel at herds of African buffaloes and dozens of African elephants, warthogs, and towering giraffes, along with bushbucks, reedbuck, duikers, Uganda kob, oribi, and unusual-looking hartebeest. By then, your guide will have an idea of where African lions could be hiding, giving you a chance to spot a leopard as well.
• Return to the lodge for lunch afterward.
• Prepare for an afternoon waterfall boat cruise, with an astonishing wildlife display, culminating in a fantastic frontal view of the falls and a view of the sunset.
• Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

• After breakfast, drive out of Murchison Falls National Park, but first visit the top of the falls to enjoy a close view of the Nile waters as they violently compress through a narrow gorge, spraying misty droplets in their wake over a 50-metre radius and creating a permanent rainbow.
• Proceed to Masindi or Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for lunch before going for rhino trekking.
• Drive back to Kampala city, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport if you have a flight on the same day.
