Acropolis Hill Myths and Monuments Tour
During our visit to Acropolis Hill, we will make short stops at the top to admire the surroundings, including the natural caves used for worship, the Theatre of Dionysus - possibly the oldest theatre in the world - the ancient healing center of Asclepium, the Hill of Pnyx, the birthplace of democracy, the Hill of Philopappos with the mausoleum at its summit, and the ancient Athenian Agora, the marketplace.
Next, we will pass through the main entrance to the religious center of the goddess Athena, the Propylaea.
Behind the Propylaea, we will stop for a photo in front of the most famous classical temple in Greece, the Parthenon.
We will then visit the Erechtheion, with its six statues of female dancers and the Caryatids that replaced the porch columns.
At the end, we will stop next to the Temple of Athena Nike, the smallest temple of the sanctuary, to learn about the term Nike and its connection with the world-famous athletic brand.
