Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Nauta and Amazon River Encounters

8 am: Welcome reception at your hotel or airport, followed by a transfer to Nauta.
10 am: Make a brief visit to a local market, then take a boat to travel to our eco refuge.
11 am: Stop briefly to watch the confluence of the three rivers - Marañon, Ucayali, and the mother of all rivers in the world, the Amazon River.
12:30 pm: Arrive at the Yarapa-Cumaceba communal reserve, where our eco refuge is located.
1 pm: Enjoy lunch and relax.
3 pm: Hop on a boat excursion to watch the pink and grey river dolphins and the sunset.
7 pm: Relax with dinner, then head out on a night jungle trek to search for tarantulas, snakes, frogs, and more.

Day 02

Sunrise, Jungle Trekking, and Piranha Fishing

5 am: Wake up for an early morning excursion to watch the sunrise and go birdwatching.

8 am: Enjoy breakfast and take a brief rest.
9 am: Go on a jungle trek to search for wildlife and old, giant trees, and learn about medicinal plants, fruits, and more.
1 pm: Enjoy lunch and relax.
3 pm: Embark on a boat excursion to explore little streams and lakes in search of wildlife and for some good piranha fishing.
7 pm: Savour dinner, eat what you catch, and go on a night excursion to search for caimans and tree snakes, while delighting yourself with fireflies and the symphony of night creatures.

Day 03

Wildlife Search on the Cumaceba River

5 am: Wake up for an early morning excursion to search for wildlife and receive the first energies of the day (optional).
8 am: Enjoy breakfast.
9 am: Go on a combined boat and trekking excursion to search for sloths, monkeys, blue-and-yellow macaws, and other exotic birds.
1 pm: Break for lunch.
2 pm: Pack up and depart.
5 pm: Return to the hotel or airport. End of the tour.
