Negombo - Minneriya National Park
- Get a pick-up from your hotel in Negombo and travel to Wilpattu National Park for an adventurous wildlife safari tour.
- Reach the destination and start your safari drive in the Minneriya National Park, which proves to be one of the oldest national parks in the country.
- Know about the history of a naturalist. It was built during the 3rd century BC by King Mahasen; the main reason for this land to be declared as a national park was to protect the catchment of the Minneriya Tank, which still proves to be vital for agriculture and also serves to be a vital feeding ground for wildlife.
