Itinerary

1. Day 1: Pokhara – Tikhedunga

   • After breakfast, meet your tour guide at your hotel in Pokhara and drive to Nayapul.

   • Start your trek from Nayapul towards Poon Hill. The trek takes about 4 hours from Nayapul to Tikhedunga, and you will also stop in a village in between to have lunch.

   Overnight in Tikhedunga.

2. Day 2: Tikhedunga – Ghorepani

   • Continue trekking from Tikhedunga to Ghorepani which takes about 7 hours. This part of the trek is the hardest part of the trek. 

   • The first part of the trek for 2 hours is stepped uphill until Ulleri; the trek then goes gradually up to the Ghorepani. 

   • You will stop at Banthati or Nangethati to have lunch. The trek goes through a waterfall, terraces and forest. You can hear the sounds of chirping birds and see the monkeys on this part.

   Overnight in Ghorepani.

3. Day 3: Ghorepani- Poon Hill – Nayapul – Pokhara

   • Wake up early today since it is the last day of this short 3-day Poon Hill Trek. Hike to Poon Hill early morning before sunrise as you are going to see the sunrise view over the Himalayas. The hike to Poon Hill takes about one hour from Ghorepani.

   • Enjoy the great views of the Himalayas from Poon Hill, including Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna 1, Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Fishtail and many others.

   • Hike down to Ghorepani and have breakfast.

   • Pack up your stuff and start trek all the way to Nayapul. The trek today is long, however, the trail is mostly downhill and flat level.

   • After a 7-hour trek, reach Nayapul, where a vehicle will be waiting for you to drive back to Pokhara.
