4-Day Masai Mara Safari from Nairobi with Mara River Game Drives

• Get picked up from your hotel in the morning at 7:30 AM and head west to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the camp.

• After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve, Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebras, there is also resident wildlife year-round. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

• Spend a full day game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black-maned lions, leopard, and cheetah, but it also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.

• Stop for lunch served in the park along the Mara River, the crossing point of wildebeest and zebras during migration time.

Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

• In the morning, have breakfast and then leave for an early game drive in search of wildlife you might not have had a chance to view the previous day.

• In the middle of the day, you will have the option to return to the camp for lunch, and the afternoon gives you another chance to do a guided game drive to the Maasai villages or go on a nature walk with the Masai guides.

Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

• Rise for a pre-breakfast game drive in the park.

• Return to the camp for a late breakfast, then leave the camp and proceed on the drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon with pleasant memories and new experiences to speak of.
