Kwale Island Tour
- Meet your tour guide at your hotel and travel to Kwale Island, sailing on a dhow, the traditional boat of Zanzibar. This small island, lying southwest of Zanzibar, is known for its conservation of mangrove forests and reef waters.
- Relax, walk along the beach, swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and view amazing coral formations. The green lagoon is lined with mangroves and filled with coral reefs. Ancient baobab trees dot the island.
- See hermit crabs, turtles, whale sharks, and humpback whales. A real treat is to see the vulnerable, manatee-like dugong, which can live for more than 70 years.
