Explore the highlights of the Negombo city
- Get picked up from your accommodation in Colombo at 9 am and head to Negombo. This small but significant city is popular with tourists due to its paradise beaches.
- Check out the Negombo Lagoon, where you can admire fantastic views of the whole city and enjoy a pleasant walk along its idyllic shores.
- Discover St. Anne's Church, one of the most historical landmarks in the whole city, situated among lush tropical vegetation.
- Interact with the locals and witness their day to day life at the bustling Fish Market.
- Head to the Angurukaramulla Temple, one of the most important Buddhist sanctuaries in all of Sri Lanka.
- Stop in front of the giant Buddha statue that presides over the entrance to admire its colourful structure and design.
Return to Colombo around 3 pm, and head to your accommodation to finish the tour.
