Day 01

Sterkfontein Caves and Maropeng Origin Centre

Meet your tour guide and get picked up at your hotel in central Johannesburg.
Our first stop will be the Sterkfontein Caves. This tour takes you underground, where we will explore these historical caves to better understand Australopithecine. It will take approximately 2 hours to complete the tour.
Next, head to the Maropeng Origin Centre, an award-winning and world-class exhibition centre. Our tour here offers in-depth knowledge through a journey through time. You will also learn about Homo Naledi, an extinct species of hominid, introduced to the public in September 2005.
