Day 01

Brajići Hike via Kosmač Fortress to Praskvica Monastery

  • Start the tour from Brajići, following the path to Kosmač Fortress, an Austrian fortress from the 19th century. There is a viewpoint here, along with a short break for sightseeing at the fortress.

  • Continue at an easy pace to the hunting lodge, then climb to the old Austrian road and follow this straight historic route to Ograđenica, where the Spiridon Monastery is located. The walk from Kosmač to Ograđenica takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. On arrival, take a longer break.

  • Descend along the wide macadam road to Rustovo Monastery.

  • Continue from Rustovo Monastery to the viewpoint at Čelobrdo, from where you descend along Jegorov Path toward Praskvica Monastery. Throughout this section, the views of St. Stefan and Miločer are stunning.
