Bobotov Kuk Hike from Sedlo

  • Start the mountain tour from the Sedlo bend, heading north on a mild ascent. From the very beginning, enjoy the beauty of the landscape as you pass grassy meadow trails and sharp rocky paths.

  • Pause beneath the rocks, then enter the beautiful valley of Surutka, from where you can look up at the outline of your goal - Bobotov Kuk. On the way to the highest peak, find wells where you can drink refreshing mountain water.

  • Enjoy views of the Škrčka lakes, known as the "mountain eyes," along with the rest of the Durmitor lake group, which includes a total of 18 glacier lakes. From the peaks of Durmitor, there are wonderful views in all directions, perfect for memorable photos.

  • Prepare for the final climb, which is technically more demanding during the last 20 minutes to the summit. The terrain is rocky and requires caution; however, the track has enough space to walk along its entire course. It is secured and allows for safe footing, so although care is needed, it is not considered risky.
