The National Museum: It is the repository of an assortment of Ethiopia's archaeological and cultural artifacts. Here, you can see Lucy (Dinknesh), the 3.2 million-year-old and most famous hominid skeleton, discovered in 1974. This discovery gave rise to the theory that Ethiopia is the cradle of humankind.
Ethnographic Museum: This museum is home to various traditional artifacts that show the lifestyles of Ethiopia's major ethnic groups. It is located within Addis Ababa University.
Trinity Cathedral: This unique and beautiful church, built in a baroque European architectural style, is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. See the tombs of the imperial family, statues made by Greek sculptors, Old and New Testament scenes painted on glass windows, and the coffins of Emperor Haile Selassie I, the church's founder, and his wife.
Mount Entoto: The highest peak in Addis, at an altitude of 3,200 meters, was the site of the first palace of Emperor Menelik II, the founder of Addis Ababa, where he was crowned Emperor. St. Mary Church is also located here. From this mountain, you can enjoy panoramic views of Addis Ababa and its surrounding forests.
