Apartheid Museum and Johannesburg Highlights

  • Meet your tour guide at your hotel and begin the tour.

  • Hop into the vehicle and make your first stop at the Apartheid Museum to learn about the rise and fall of apartheid. The museum depicts the brutality and oppression suffered by the non-Europeans living in South Africa.

  • Head to Johannesburg after spending some time at the museum. Johannesburg is the largest urban complex in South Africa.

  • Visit the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg. The building was once the tallest in the southern hemisphere, including Australia and New Zealand. It provides the best view of the city of Johannesburg.

  • Make a stop at the Nelson Mandela law office, then visit the underground mine.

  • Proceed to Maboneng Precinct. This urban living area is home to what is now called the new South Africa.

  • Head back to your hotel.
