Uplistsikhe & Mtskheta Tour
10:00 am: Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and start the trip to Mtskheta – the first capital of Georgia.
Visit Jvari Monastery - a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, eastern Georgia. It is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
Check out Svetitskhoveli Church which is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral. A masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is currently the second-largest church building in Georgia.
Continue driving to Uplistsikhe, which is an ancient rock-hewn town.
Return to Tbilisi in the evening. The tour will finish around 6:00 pm.
