Go on an excursion to inland Montenegro's Tara River and discover beautiful green mountains and canyons. Enjoy the drive through Plužine and witness the Tara River - also known as "The Tear of Europe" - and its 1300 m canyon, the second deepest in the world. This 2-day tour combines an overnight stay in Šćepan Polje with an exciting whitewater rafting experience through Europe's deepest river canyon.
Raft for 3 to 4 hours, with pauses for swimming and photography at the most beautiful places, including the most beautiful waterfall on the Tara.

Day by day
Get picked up from your accommodation and drive towards Šćepan Polje.
Arrive at the camp in the evening and get to know the surroundings and your accommodation.
Enjoy dinner by the river. You can spend the evening on a walk, fishing, relaxing around a campfire, or visiting a restaurant.
Overnight stay in Šćepan Polje.
Enjoy a traditional Montenegrin breakfast at the riverside restaurant, then meet the skippers and other rafting participants.
Prepare for rafting by getting fitted with neoprene clothing and footwear, safety belts, and helmets, including a set for a GoPro camera. You can bring a camera and mobile phones with you, as there is a safe waterproof bag in the boat where you can leave your belongings during the rapids and use them during breaks.
Begin your adventure with a short and exciting off-road drive to the starting point of the rafting tour, Brstanovica.
Arrive at the starting point, where the skipper will give you all the instructions you need for rafting.
Raft for 3 to 4 hours, with pauses for swimming and photography at the most beautiful places, including the most beautiful waterfall on the Tara. The Tara River has restless whitewater rapids with beautiful, peaceful pools between them, allowing you to rest, take photos of its unique landscapes, or try swimming in the crystal-clear water.
Return to the camp for a traditional Montenegrin lunch with various dishes - gourmet, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other options of your choice - served with an aperitif and homemade Montenegrin brandy. Almost all products are of organic origin and are purchased from local breeders and manufacturers.
Return to the city of your accommodation. Your tour comes to an end here.
