The itinerary

1
Day 01

Arrival in Podgorica and Guided City Walk

Arrival at the airport (Podgorica or Tivat) or port (Kotor/Bar/Tivat). Accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Podgorica. City sightseeing.

We will welcome you at the airport and then head towards Podgorica.

We begin with a panoramic sightseeing tour with a guide, after which we will head to the hotel.

Check-in.

At an agreed time, we will start an easy walk through the city accompanied by a guide - approximately 2 hours.

We start the tour from Republic Square, the main city square. We will pass through Bokeška Street, with its nice cafes and urban atmosphere, a favorite place for young people to go out. We will see the Millennium Bridge, which represents the visual identity of the city. We will visit Sastavci, or Skaline - the oldest bridge in Podgorica, which according to historical facts was established during Roman rule. We will also visit the Clock Tower and the Old Town, located in the very heart of Podgorica, which preserves a rich historical and cultural heritage. The most beautiful example of architecture remaining from the Turkish period is the Clock Tower, a symbol of Podgorica that still dominates the Old Town area with its height. Then we will continue towards the Centre of Contemporary Art - Kruševac - the former winter mansion of King Nikola I Petrović. After that, we continue our walk to the Temple of the Resurrection of Christ, the third largest Orthodox temple in the world. At the end, we visit St. George Church, dating from the 9th-11th century, one of the oldest active Christian chapels in Montenegro and beyond.

Day 02

Winery Visit, Rijeka Crnojevića, Cetinje and Saint Stefan Viewpoint

Breakfast.

After breakfast, we start the tour at the agreed time. Drive towards a local traditional winery - approximately 30 minutes. Sightseeing of the winery, wine cellar, and vineyards. Learn about the production of wines, brandies, liqueurs, jams, and more. Tasting of wine, grape brandy, and liqueurs - approximately 1 hour.

Continue to Rijeka Crnojevića with a photo break at Pavlova Strana, one of the most attractive viewpoints in Montenegro and the most famous "picture postcard" of the country.

Arrival at Rijeka Crnojevića. Sightseeing. Free time for coffee at one of the restaurants or for a boat cruise to enjoy the wonderful natural scenery - approximately 1 hour (optional, depending on weather conditions).

Drive to Cetinje - approximately 20 minutes. Arrival in Cetinje. City sightseeing includes Cetinje Monastery, Ćipuri Church, the former residence of Njegoš - Biljarda, King Nikola's Museum, and the Presidential Palace (duration approximately 1 hour).

Lunch at a restaurant with traditional specialties - approximately 1 hour.

Drive to Saint Stefan viewpoint - approximately 40 minutes. Photo break and time to enjoy the beautiful view of Saint Stefan from the Adriatic Highway viewpoint, from where the island is photographed for many posters promoting Montenegro worldwide. We will pass through Miločer Park - the King's Park - near the former summer house of the Karađorđević dynasty. Miločer Park is one of the most beautiful parks and arboretums on the Adriatic, with many rare and exotic plant species brought by seafarers from all over the world.

Optional (if entrance is allowed): Walking tour of the island with a guide who will tell you the history of the island, as well as interesting events and experiences related to this place. You will see the Church of the Lord's Transfiguration, Piazza - the central square where local people used to trade homemade products - and the Small and Big Church. It is also possible to visit one of the rooms in the exclusive "Aman Resort" if the hotel is not 100% full - approximately 45 minutes.

Back to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

Day 03

Budva, Perast, Our Lady of the Rocks, Kotor and Tivat

Breakfast at the hotel.

Drive towards Budva - approximately 1 hour.

Arrival in Budva. Accompanied by a guide, you will see the Old Town, walk through its winding streets, and enjoy the late medieval squares that form a whole with solid ramparts, towers, city gates, and Orthodox and Catholic churches - approximately 1 hour.

Drive towards Perast - approximately 45 minutes. Arrival in Perast. Enjoy an easy walk through this beautiful coastal town. Then take a boat ride to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks and visit the 15th-century church and museum (all approximately 1 hour).

Take a ride around the unique bay of the Mediterranean - Boka Bay - until we reach Kotor (approximately 30 minutes).

Arrival in Kotor. City walk accompanied by a tourist guide through the Old Town, where you can see its famous monuments and squares: the Arms Market, Saint Tryphon Cathedral and square, Saint Luke's Church and square, and Cats Square - approximately 1 hour.

Lunch at one of the famous restaurants in the city - approximately 1 hour.

Drive towards Tivat - about 20 minutes.

Free time for a city tour and to explore the luxurious marina Porto Montenegro - approximately 1 hour.

Back to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

Day 04

Ostrog Monastery, Kuči, Niagara Waterfalls and Šipčanik Wine Cellar

Breakfast.

Drive towards Ostrog - approximately 1 hour.

Coffee break at a restaurant on the way to the monastery - optional (approximately 30 minutes).

Arrival at Ostrog Monastery. Free time for sightseeing of the upper and lower monasteries. In the monastery, we will bow to the relics of the great Saint Vasily Ostroški and hear incredible stories of Ostrog miracles (about 1 hour and 30 minutes).

Drive towards Kuči - approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Arrival at the viewpoint, visit Novak Milošev's monument, visit Old Town Medun - Meteon, and visit the "Marko Miljanov" Museum - approximately 1 hour.

Drive to Niagara Falls (their appearance depends on the period of the year) for a photo break and lunch - approximately 1 hour.

Drive to Ćemovsko Field and the Šipčanik wine cellar - approximately 15 minutes.

Arrival at Ćemovsko Field. After a ride on the tourist train (available only during the summer season) through the vineyard and a short break at the viewpoint, we arrive at the "heart" of the vineyard, the wine cellar "Šipčanik".

Before entering the cellar, you will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the viewpoint overlooking the entire vineyard, where you will experience all of the climate within only one wine house.

In the cellar, the program includes a tasting of 3 types of wine (2 from the classic line and 1 special), along with bruschette with Njeguški cheese grilled in olive oil and rosemary. Duration - about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Day 05

Virpazar, Bar, Old Bar, Old Olive Tree, Ulcinj and Ada Bojana

Breakfast at the hotel.

Drive to Virpazar - approximately 20 minutes.

Arrival in Virpazar, a fishing village with charming stone houses. Enjoy a short walk. Free time for climbing Besac Fortress - the most attractive viewpoint over Skadar Lake - or for coffee at one of the restaurants, optionally (approximately 20 minutes).

Drive towards Bar (lasting about 1 hour).

Arrival in Bar, visit the Temple of St. John of Vladimir, and walk along the coast (duration approximately 1 hour).

Visit the Old Town (duration approximately 1 hour).

Visit the Old Olive Tree (duration approximately 20 minutes) - the oldest tree in Europe.

Drive towards Ulcinj (duration approximately 30 minutes).

Arrival in Ulcinj, visit the Old Town, Balšića Tower, Slave Market, and more (duration about 1 hour).

Drive to Ada Bojana (Great Beach) - approximately 30 minutes.

Lunch at one of the traditional fish restaurants or enjoy the beach on this paradise island famous for its unspoiled nature (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes).

Back to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

Day 06

Departure Transfer

After breakfast, check out and enjoy some free time. Then transfer to the airport (Podgorica or Tivat) or port (Kotor, Tivat, or Bar).
