4-Day Montenegro Adriatic Tour with Tara River Rafting

Arrival at the airport (Podgorica or Tivat) or port (Kotor/Bar/Tivat). Accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Budva/Bečići. Budva Old Town sightseeing.

We will welcome you at the airport and then head towards Budva, the beauty of the Adriatic.

Accompanied by a guide, you will see the Old Town, which breathes with unity, walk through its winding streets, and enjoy the view of the late Middle Ages squares that form a whole with solid ramparts, towers, and city gates, as well as Orthodox and Catholic churches - approx. 1 hour 30 minutes.

Time to refresh on one of the beaches.

Check in at the 4-star hotel in Budva/Bečići, followed by free time and an overnight stay.

Budva is also famous for its nightlife. Its squares and streets stay alive deep into the night, so you should not miss the opportunity to go out on your very first evening to one of the famous discotheques or restaurants on the seashore, as well as cafes, pastry shops, and taverns. The offer in Budva's restaurants is very diverse, dominated by Mediterranean and Montenegrin national cuisine, with marine specialties, olives, and wine taking center stage.

Breakfast.

Drive towards Tivat - approx. 30 minutes. Free time for a city tour and to explore the luxurious marina of Porto Montenegro - approx. 1 hour.

Ferry ride. Enjoy a drive around the unique bay of the Mediterranean - Boka Bay - until we reach Perast, approx. 40 minutes.

Arrival in Perast. Enjoy an easy walk through this beautiful coastal town. Then take a boat ride to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks and visit the 15th-century church and museum (all approx. 1 hour).

Continue the drive to Kotor - approx. 30 minutes.

Arrival in Kotor. Enjoy a city walk accompanied by a tourist guide through its Old Town, where you can see its famous monuments and squares: the Arms Market, Saint Tryphon Cathedral and square, Saint Luke's Church and square, and Cats Square - approx. 1 hour.

Lunch at one of the famous restaurants in the city (approx. 1 hour).

Return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

Departure in the early morning hours, driving towards Šćepan Polje. Duration of the journey: approx. 3 to 3 hours 30 minutes.

Arrival at the camp, meeting with the skippers and other rafting participants, followed by a traditional Montenegrin breakfast at the riverside restaurant (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes).

Preparation for rafting includes fitting neoprene clothing and footwear, safety belts, helmets, and a set for a GoPro camera - approx. 30 minutes. You can take cameras and mobile phones with you because there is a safe waterproof bag in the boats where you can leave your belongings during the rapids and use them during breaks, as well as in the quiet parts of the river.

Your adventure begins with a short and exciting drive by off-road vehicles to the starting point of the rafting tour, Brštanovica (approx. 40 minutes). When you arrive, the skipper will give you all the instructions you need for rafting, so the important thing is to listen carefully and pay attention to everything he says. He will also brief you before each rapid during the rafting.

Rafting with pauses for swimming and photography at the most beautiful places, including the unavoidable and most beautiful waterfall on the Tara (approx. 3 to 4 hours). The Tara River seems to have white, restless water stairs with beautiful, peaceful pools between the rapids that allow you to rest, take photos of its unique landscapes, or try swimming in crystal-clear but very cold water.

Back to the camp. Traditional Montenegrin lunch (various dishes - gourmet, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dishes of your choice, plus an aperitif of homemade Montenegrin brandy) - approx. 1 hour 30 minutes. Almost all products are of organic origin, purchased from local breeders and manufacturers.

Return drive to the hotel in Budva/Bečići. Free time. Overnight stay.
