4-Day Montenegro Sightseeing Tour with Kotor, Budva and Biogradska Gora

Arrival at the airport (Podgorica or Tivat) or port (Kotor/Bar/Tivat). Accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Podgorica. City sightseeing.

We will welcome you at the airport and then head towards Podgorica.

We begin with a panoramic sightseeing tour with a guide, after which we will head to the hotel for check-in in Podgorica.

At an agreed time, we will start an easy walk through the city accompanied by a guide, lasting approximately 2 hours.

We start the tour from Republic Square, the main city square. We will pass through Bokeška Street, known for its nice cafes and urban atmosphere, and a favorite place for young people to go out. We will see the Millennium Bridge, which represents the visual identity of the city. We will also visit Sastavci, or Skaline, the oldest bridge in Podgorica, which according to historical facts was established during Roman rule. We continue to the Clock Tower and the Old Town, located in the very heart of Podgorica, which preserves a rich historical and cultural heritage. The most beautiful example of architecture remaining from the Turkish period is the Clock Tower, a symbol of Podgorica that still dominates the Old Town area with its height. Then we continue towards the Centre of Contemporary Art - Kruševac, the former winter mansion of King Nikola I Petrović. After that, we walk to the Temple of the Resurrection of Christ, the third largest Orthodox temple in the world. At the end, we visit St. George Church, dating from the 9th-11th century, one of the oldest active Christian chapels in Montenegro and beyond.

Back to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

Transfer from Podgorica to Cetinje - approximately 30 minutes.

Arrival in Cetinje. City sightseeing includes Cetinje Monastery, Ćipuri Church, the former residence of Njegoš - Biljarda, King Nikola's Museum, and the Presidential Palace. Duration is approximately 1 hour.

Drive towards Njeguši. Arrival at Njeguši village. Tasting of traditional products in the oldest tavern of this type in Montenegro, dating from 1881, for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Drive along the Lovćen serpentine for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. There will be a photo stop on the road, which is linked to the story that the designer Joseph Slade dedicated this route to Princess Milena, so this part of the route is in the shape of the initial letter of her name.

Arrival in Kotor. City sightseeing includes the Old Town, the Square of Arms, the Cathedral of St. Triphon, the Church of St. Luke, and Cat Square - approximately 1 hour.

Lunch at one of the most famous restaurants in the city, followed by leisure time of about 1 hour.

Drive towards Budva, about 30 minutes.

Old Town sightseeing includes beautiful churches, squares, and the Citadela. Enjoy a walk through the winding streets and along the beautiful marina for about 1 hour.

Return drive of around 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Drive towards Morača Monastery along the Morača River Canyon, known as Platije. You will enjoy an amazing landscape, and we will make a photo stop to capture the beauty of nature. Driving time is about 30 minutes.

Arrival at Morača Monastery. Tour of the monastery - approximately 30 minutes. Many visitors describe the atmosphere in the monastery as something special. There is also a story that the yellow stone from which the monastery was built was brought from the village of Tušina by a column of people, with the stone passed from hand to hand.

We continue our journey towards Biogradska Gora National Park, a realm of untouched nature - approximately 1 hour.

A tour of the park, at the heart of which lies Biogradsko Lake, a special tourist attraction - approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Drive towards Kolašin and enjoy the beautiful landscapes - approximately 20 minutes.

Lunch at a national restaurant in Kolašin that offers traditional and modern dishes - approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Free time for city sightseeing - approximately 1 hour. Even a short stay in this area will let you feel all the benefits of an air spa. The mountain climate, altitude, clean air, and healthy natural food guarantee refreshment and recovery.
