Day 01

Muscat to Wadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands

Start the tour and head towards Fanjah, stopping to take photographs at wadis and oasis.
Drive through the Sumail Gap, where you will find the ruins of the Al Mansfahold mercantile community.
Then head towards Wadi Bani Khalid, driving past villages with endless date plantations before reaching the magnificent wadi. The deep pools are perfect for swimming.
Proceed to Wahiba, with its undulating golden sands, where you will enjoy dune bashing. Your Muscat tour guide will show off his driving skills.
After lunch, return to Muscat.
