Day by day
Leave from the hotel at 8:00 am and depart for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for refuelling, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch.
Proceed for a game drive from 16:00 to 18:30 hrs, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game drives in Kenya, as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close-range viewing and photography. Stop for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Head out for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch in the afternoon.
Proceed on an evening game viewing drive in a park known for prolific birdlife, including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for conserving the black and white rhinos, while Cape buffalo and waterbuck can also be seen near the shoreline.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Enjoy pre-breakfast game viewing, have breakfast, and depart for Samburu in time for lunch. Later, enjoy a sunset game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar.
Enjoy pre-breakfast game viewing and return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Have lunch, then watch the afternoon game in this semi-arid national reserve known for its notable zebra species, such as the Grevy's zebra, and other drought-resistant animals.

After breakfast and final game viewing, depart for Sweet Waters, arriving in time for lunch. Spend the evening at leisure or bird-watching.
Dinner and overnight at Sweet Waters Serena Camp.
After breakfast and final game viewing at the conservancy to see the rhino and the chimpanzees, have lunch and leave Sweet Waters.
Return to Nairobi, arriving late in the evening.
Drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or transfer to the airport.
