Day 01

Abydos and Dendera Temple Exploration

Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Luxor and travel to Abydos City, located 260 kilometres northeast of Luxor.
Visit the famous temple built by Seti I in honour of Osiris. Admire the representations of important scenes from the lives of Seti I and Ramses II. You will also see the famous Egyptian Royal List, which includes the names of 77 kings of Ancient Egypt from Menes to Seti I.
Take a break for a packed lunch and then continue to Dendera.
Explore the Temple of Dendera, dedicated to the goddess Hathor, which was begun by Nectanebo I and completed in Roman times. It contains twelve decorated crypts, two hypostyle halls, and two funeral chapels, one of which included the famous "Zodiac of Dendera", now exhibited in the Louvre Museum.
Make one final stop at the Temple of Isis.

Leave for Luxor and get dropped off at your hotel or boat between 17:00 and 18:00.
