Jozani Forest, Mangroves and Spice Farm Experience

  • Meet your guide in Zanzibar and take a car ride to Jozani Forest, also known as Jozani Chwaka Bay. Walk through the ancient hardwood forest and mangrove swamps.
  • Explore the forest's many habitats, including swamp, evergreen thickets, and mangroves. See a variety of wildlife, including Sykes monkeys, bush pigs, Ader's duiker, suni antelopes, elephant shrews, chameleons, and the rare red Colobus monkeys, unique to Zanzibar, with fewer than 2,000 remaining in the world.
