The itinerary

Day 01

Transfer to Mkomazi and First Game Viewing

After breakfast, get an early morning pick-up from your Africa safari guide at the hotel for a safari briefing and depart for Mkomazi National Park.
Arrive in time for a full day of game viewing.
After a hot lunch, return to the camp in the evening to freshen up and share stories around the campfire.

Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.

Day 02

Full-Day Wildlife Viewing in Mkomazi

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game viewing with a packed lunch to maximize your time. You will have the opportunity to see various endangered species, particularly the black rhino and wild dog. Given the biodiversity of the area, Mkomazi exhibits unique habitats for over 75 species of mammals, such as the Fringe-eared oryx, lesser kudu, gerenuk, African wild dogs, and black rhinos, and boasts over 400 species of birds, such as ostrich and kori bustard, among others.
After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, drive back to the camp in the evening.

Day 03

Morning Game Drive and Return Journey

Enjoy an early morning game drive, then return to the campsite for breakfast.
Start the drive back to Dar es Salaam/Tanga, with a chance to look out for more game along the way. The guide will take you to your hotel or airport for your flight home.
