Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Meet the guide at an agreed-upon location.
- Pick up from your lodge in Arusha for a short safari briefing and then drive to Tarangire National Park.
- Visit the park, known for its huge elephant population, giant Baobab tree, and rare animal species like Greater Kudu, Fringed Eared Oryx, and Ash stalling. Also, spot lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, buffalo, giraffes, wildebeest zebras and many antelopes.
- Drive to Migombani Public Campsite or similar close to Lake Manyara to watch the sunset.
Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 2: Travel to Ngorongoro Crater
- Have breakfast at your campsite and depart for Ngorongoro Crater.
- Drive across the Great East African Rift Valley & along the high lying farmland of Karatu.
- Reach Ngorongoro gate for check-in before driving up to Crater viewpoint for some nice pictures of the crater floor from the rim.
- Descend the Crater floor for a beautiful game drive (picnic lunch will be served at the crater floor). Ngorongoro Crater is often defined as one of the wonders of the world. Try to spot animals like lions, Hyenas, Jackals, elephants, zebras, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and many bird species, including flamingos, in their natural habitat. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted on one day of the game drives as well.
- Stop at the Lake Manyara viewpoint to take pictures and then drive down to Migombani Public Campsite.
Overnight at Migombani Campsite, close to Lake Manyara.

Day 3: Return to Arusha
- Take breakfast at the campsite.
- Head to Lake Manyara National park for game drives. Lake Manyara is a beautiful & evergreen park due to underground water streams flowing from the Great Rift Valley to the Lake. Watch herds of African elephants, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, hippos, giraffes, and many antelopes here. The famous Lake Manyara tree-climbing lions and other predators can also be seen in this park. Marvel at the colourful flamingos and other aquatic birds feeding on algae and other water creatures.
Make your way to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu town or get dropped off at the airport.
