- Meet your tour guide at 8:20 AM in Hotel Mundial, Lisbon, and proceed with your tour.
- Visit Belem Tower, a 16th-century fortification that served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for Portuguese explorers and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon.
- Marvel at the Monument of the Discoveries. Located on the northern bank of the Tagus, this structure celebrates the Portuguese Age of Exploration in the 15th and 16th Century.
- Stop at the Jerónimos Monastery. This monastery is one of the most prominent examples of the Portuguese Late Gothic Manueline style of architecture in Lisbon today.
- Be amazed by the Parque das Nações with its state-of-the-art modern architecture as you stroll through the area.
- Walk through the narrow alleyways of Alfama, the city's oldest district. See medieval palaces, cathedrals and baroque churches.
- Make your way to the 12th-century Lisbon Cathedral and admire its Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles before returning to your hotel.
