The itinerary

Day 01

Journey from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Meet your tour representative and head to Bwindi National Park, home to mountain gorillas.
Enjoy the countryside, bamboo forest, and beautiful landscapes along the way.
Upon arrival in the evening, check in to the campsite/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Gorilla Tracking Adventure and Lake Bunyonyi Sunset Cruise

Early in the morning, embark on a game safari to encounter the rare mountain gorillas. Apart from the gorillas, you can also spot other primate species such as chimpanzees, l'Hoest's monkey, black-and-white colobus, as well as elephants, duikers, buffaloes, golden cats, bush pigs, giant forest hogs, black-fronted duiker, yellow-backed duiker, and clawless otter.
Walk through the slopes, entwined vines, bamboos, and bushes before reaching the gorillas' habitat.
After the fantastic jungle experience with the gentle giants, head to Lake Bunyonyi, considered the second deepest lake in Africa, with an estimated depth of 40-900 m. Go on a cruise to see the sunset and enjoy views of 29 islands surrounded by beautiful landscapes.
Return to the campsite/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
