This 3-day journey takes you from the vast Salar and Incahuasi Island to high-altitude lagoons such as Cañapa, Shiarkota, and Ramaditas, with views of the Ollague Volcano along the way. You will also cross the Salvador Dalí Desert, relax at the Polkes hot springs, and witness the changing colours of the White Lagoon from white to green before returning to Uyuni.

Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Uyuni Salt Flat, Colchani, and Incahuasi Island

Depart from Uyuni at 10:30 am towards Colchani, a small town where you will visit the micro-refining factories of table salt, as well as heaps and blocks of salt.
Visit the majestic Uyuni Salt Flat and Incahuasi Island, where you will enjoy lunch in the middle of the Salar. Walk around the area with your Uyuni tour guide, observing the giant cacti measuring 10 to 12 meters and visiting the cave.
Then continue your trip to San Juan.

Dinner and rest.

Day 02

Red Lagoon, Andean Lagoons, and Stone Tree

After breakfast at 7:00 am, depart for the Red Lagoon.
On the way, you will see Chiguana salt flat, a viewpoint of the Ollague Volcano, Cañapa Lagoon, Stinky Lagoon, Deep Lagoon, Shiarkota Lagoon, and Ramaditas, with a small number of flamingos. You will also pass through Pampa Siloli and see the Stone Tree.

Dinner and overnight in a hostel.

Day 03

Green Lagoon, Geysers, and Rocks Valley

Around 5:00 am, you will see the sunrise, the volcanic zone with geysers, and the Polkes hot springs.
After that, you will cross the Salvador Dalí Desert and reach the White Lagoon, where you will have a typical breakfast.
At the lagoon, you will observe the changing colours of the water from white to green.
Then continue the trip to Villa Mar and the Rocks Valley.
After lunch, you are going to visit San Cristobal town.
Finish your tour in Uyuni at approximately 6:00 pm.
