Kasprowy Wierch, Hala Gąsienicowa and Jaworzynka Valley Hike
The tour is led by an English-speaking licensed Tatra mountain guide who is an expert in natural sciences and the environment. Your guide will familiarize you with the mountains, nature, history, and culture of the local 'Gorale' highlanders. Additionally, the guide will bring scientific equipment such as humidity, elevation, pressure, and temperature probes, as well as magnifiers and binoculars, to help you understand nature better.
Start the tour in Kuźnice, where you will use a modern cable car to reach Kasprowy Wierch (1987 meters above sea level). It is a prominent summit on the Polish-Slovakian border and is home to meteorological and astronomical observatories.
The tour continues through Beskid (2012 m), over Liliowe Pass, and on to the meadows of Hala Gąsienicowa. Here, you will find a stone shelter built in 1925 and stop for a lunch break.
Only 40 minutes from the shelter lies the beautiful Black Tarn, which you will visit after lunch. This excellent spot offers views over Orla Perc, a sharp ridge of summits known as the most challenging trail in the Tatras.
The tour ends with a walk through Jaworzynka Valley, known for its historic pastures and old shepherd huts.
