Day 01
Wine Estates, Franschhoek Heritage and Stellenbosch
- Depart from your hotel and drive along the N1 highway to the Fairview Wine Estate, famous for its outstanding cheese and wines. The estate is located on the slopes of the Paarl mountains and offers spectacular views.
- Take your time and choose from the best wines and cheeses with help from the sommelier.
- Stop next at the Glen Carlou Wine Estate and walk around the vineyards to learn about the soil types and grapes.
- Proceed to the historic town of Franschhoek and explore the old buildings, a church, and the famous Huguenot Monument.
- Drive to La Petite Colombe Restaurant for lunch, or any other place of your choice.
- Head to Stellenbosch, a 30-minute drive away and the second-oldest town in South Africa, to explore Stellenbosch University, the museum, and the old Dutch buildings.
- Make your way to Peter Falke Wines and enjoy their wines in the Peter Falke picnic garden.
Return to your hotel or get dropped off at Cape Town city centre.
